I'm not a porn star, Potter actor says

Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe says his naked appearance in the controversial stage play Equus has been hardened like "pornography".

The actor - who asterisked in the stage play in Londons West End theatre territory and is about to reprise his role on New York's Broadway, as a stable boy possessed with horses - was surprised at the reaction his nude sculpture scene caused.

He said: "Offended mothers were calling up and expression I shouldnt be doing this, that they werent going to go see it.

"Okay, dont see it. Theyre treating it wish its pornography, and its not. Its only seven minutes at the end of the play when Im naked, and Im 19 now."

Daniel also claimed the ill-famed scene is one of the almost shocking and terrifying pieces of house he has witnessed or been involved in.

He added at New York's Times Talk event, held by the The New York Times paper: "Youre in there, and there ar these hooves flying around, and Im naked by that point. Its terrifying.

"That scene is one of the to the highest degree shocking pieces of field of operations, and I deserve very little credit for that. Those 'horses' are amazing."
